About FlyClassifieds

Hi there — I'm the creator of FlyClassifieds.com, and I want to personally welcome you aboard.

This website started as nothing more than an idea sketched out on a piece of scrap paper back in 2014. I had a vision for how I wanted a classifieds site for aviators to really look and function — something clean, simple, and built with pilots and aircraft owners in mind. Over the years, that little sketch stayed with me. Life, as it does, kept me busy, but the dream never faded. And now, after a couple decades of flying and a bit of extra time on my hands, I finally decided to bring it to life.

A bit about me: I enlisted in the U.S. Navy at 18, and through an extremely fortunate commissioning program, I was given the opportunity to become a Naval Aviator. Over my 20-year Navy career, I flew and instructed in the military, later continuing my passion for aviation as a civilian flight instructor (CFI/CFII), flying for the regional airlines, and today flying for — and instructing at — a major commercial airline. Aviation isn't just a career path for me — it's a lifelong passion. It's part of who I am. So when I set out to build this site, I wanted it to reflect that same spirit: created by an aviator,for aviators.

FlyClassifieds is independent. It's not run by a big tech firm or a corporate machine. It's just me — someone who loves aircraft, knows the community, and wanted to build a better place for buyers, sellers, and dreamers alike. As part of that commitment, FlyClassifieds is a proud supporter of two causes close to my heart: the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), supporting service members and their families, and the EAA's Young Eagles, helping inspire and introduce the next generation to aviation.
